What Worth Doing is
Worth Doing is a guide to cultural events in New York: music, theater, film, museums, and more, already listed on their organizers' own sites, gathered here to give them more visibility. The site is free to use and doesn't require sign-up.
Worth Doing is operated by Lifeworld Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
02
Using the site
You're welcome to use Worth Doing freely: browse it, search it, and share a link with anyone. You may not use the site for anything illegal, try to compromise its security, or scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract its content in bulk through automated means to republish, resell, or build another product from it. Want to reuse our listings at scale for something else? Write to us first.
03
Accuracy of listings
Each listing's dates, times, prices, and venues come from its organizer and can change without notice. We do our best to keep the calendar current, but we don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Before buying a ticket or heading to a venue, check the details on the organizer's own site: that's the one that counts.
04
External links
Almost everything on Worth Doing links out: to an organizer's page, a venue's site, or a ticketing partner. Those are run by other people, under their own rules and their own privacy practices, and a link doesn't mean we vouch for what's on the other end. If something about a linked site bothers you, that's between you and that site.
05
Tickets and purchases
Worth Doing doesn't sell tickets or take part in any transaction. Each listing links to the organizer's site or the relevant ticketing partner, third parties with their own terms and conditions. Any dispute about a purchase is between you and that third party.
06
Intellectual property and takedowns
Event names, descriptions, images, and other material shown on a listing belong to their organizers, producers, or creators. Worth Doing shows them for informational purposes only, always linking back to the source. If you hold the rights to something we're showing and want it changed or removed, write to [email protected] with a link to the listing and a short description of the issue, and we'll take care of it promptly, or use the takedown page, where we hide what needs to go within 48 hours.
Copyright notices under the U.S. DMCA: our designated agent is Copyright Agent, Lifeworld Labs LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, [email protected] (registration DMCA-1081433). Tell us which work it is, the link where you see it, how to reach you, and that you own it or act for the owner. We remove flagged material without delay. Repeat infringer policy: if a person or organization who sends us content (by email, through the submission form, or on Instagram) is the subject of repeated, valid copyright complaints, we terminate their ability to submit content and remove what they sent. The person whose content was removed may send us a counter-notice at the same address, and we will handle it as the DMCA provides.
07
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to the accuracy of any listing or the availability of any event. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the site at any time. To the extent the law allows, we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
08
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Worth Doing and Lifeworld Labs LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from any event it lists, including one that's cancelled, rescheduled, sold out, or shown with outdated details. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.
09
Indemnity
If your misuse of the site or a violation of these terms causes Worth Doing or Lifeworld Labs LLC to face a claim, loss, or expense from someone else, you agree to cover it.
10
Privacy
How we handle data is covered in our Privacy policy. Short version: no accounts, no personal information requested, and we keep as little as possible.
11
Changes to these terms
If we change something significant, we'll update this document and the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the version in effect.
12
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from your use of the site is subject to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. If you live somewhere whose law doesn't let you give up certain consumer protections, this section doesn't take those away from you.
13
Severability
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
